Time to go FISHing! International FISH Course scheduled for September 2024
Our International FISH Course will be held again from September 9th to 13th 2024. During the one-week course, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH)-based microscopy for identification, quantification, and co-localization of microorganisms.
In addition, the course provides an outline of complementary techniques for in situ analysis. The central focus of the course is the practical work with own samples.
The course will take place at the University of Vienna Biology Building (UBB), Djerassiplatz 1. Applications are now open and possible until May 17th 2024 via this application form. Interested researchers can find more information about the course here.
