Congratulations Manuela Felsberger, MSc!
Manuela Felsberger successfully defended her MSc thesis entitled "The role of phytoplankton in oxic methane production in two Austrian freshwater lakes" on July 4th 2025. Congratulations, Manu!
For her master's project, Manu investigated oxic methane production in freshwater lakes by combining inhibitor-assays with stable isotope incubation experiments. Her work highlighted the contribution of phytoplankton to oxic methane production in Mondsee and Attersee.
The board of examiners included Jill Petersen, Dagmar Wöbken and Barbara Bayer (all CeMESS).
