New FWF project for Stephanie A. Eichorst
Stephanie A. Eichorst, a Senior Scientist at DOME, received funding for her project “Beyond O2 – factors influencing the use of microbial terminal oxidases” from the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
The project seeks to better understand the environmental conditions (beyond O2 concentration) that regulate the utilization of low- and high-affinity terminal oxidases for energy generation in representative soil bacteria. The other project participants include Dagmar Woebken and Anna Lopatina from DoME and Emilio G. Garcia-Robledo from the University of Cadiz, Spain. Congratulations, Stephanie!
