Barbara Bayer featured in interview video by FWF
The FWF features female researchers in a recent social media video. Barbara Bayer, postdoctoral researcher at DOME, is also portrayed in the video. She works on the biogeochemical cycling of nitrogen and carbon in the ocean. From 2019 to 2021, she conducted research at the University of California, Santa Barbara, thanks to funding from the FWF Schrödinger Programme. The video is available on the FWF Twitter channel.
The FWF produced the audiovisual spotlight on women in top-level research in celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science that took place on February 11th. On this occasion, CMESS and several faculties of the University of Vienna are also directing a special focus on women in science.
